Welcome to St.Attracta's Community School. 

In 2002 the Marist Convent and Banada Abbey Secondary School amalgamated to form the new St. Attracta's Community School.It was officially operned by the Minister for Education, Mr. Noel Dempsey, on the 4th December 2002. This is a co-educational school with approximately 520 students with the potential to accommodate 750 students. It has a large gym and sports hall. The gym is open to use by our senior students and teachers.There are 4 science labs, 2 kitchens, computer suite, multi-media room, 2 wood-work rooms, metal-work room and a technology room. We also have a canteen which keeps the energy levels up during the day.

This year we have more than 20 students participating in the Gaisce Award.
