VIRGINIA VOCATIONAL SCHOOL

          Welcome and thank you for logging on to the V.V.S. website!!! We would like to take this opportunity to inform people of the facilities we have available to us in our school and for the people reading this who might have attended our school just a reminder of the facilities they had available to them.
          First a few words on where our school is!! Virginia Vocational School is located on the banks of  Lough Ramor in the town of Virginia. The town is located along the N3. This is the main road from Cavan to Dublin. We are about 80km from the capital.
          We are currently waiting on an extention to cope with the ever growing population of the surrounding areas.
          V.V.S is quite a small school with a very large attendance. There are over 520 students and an excellent staff of 40 teachers.
          As much as we hate to admit it our school is one of the best. We have great facilities at our disposal. We have great football teams from both girls and boys. Both teams have made the commitment and the school is very proud of their achievements.
          As well as football we have other team activities such as: Debating,

                                                                                                                   Camogie,
                                                                                             Soccer,
                                                                                             Rugby,
                                                                                             Cookery Competions.
